Whispering Sweet Nothings

I'm watching your lips move ever so slowly,
As you whisper your kind words.
They're dripping sweetly off your tongue
Comprehending the things I heard.
And as you're looking into my eyes,
Staring right into my mind.
I get the sudden melting feeling,
That everything will be fine.
I don't know if I trust myself,
Or if I trust my head.
But I know I'm hoping you'll still love me,
Long after we're both dead.
And the parasites thriving off the rotting flesh,
Corroding to the bone.
The only way my glass heart should shatter,
Is being left all alone
In the dark room I call my thoughts,
And the hole I call my pain.
While I'm waiting patient, so patient
For the last of my blood to drain.
